Ayaw ni Lolo: "Ibasura ang GA Transfer to Tanay!
The lolos and lolas of Golden Acres protest their transfer to Tanay. One of the lolos even asked in this protest action: "Antayin niyo na lang muna kaming mamamatay bago ninyo kami ilipat."They fear that the visiting friends they found in Golden Acres would have a hard time visiting them if they were transfered to Tanay.

On of the many protest actions of SWEAP held in front of the DSWD Central Office in Batasan Hills, QC. The President of SWEAP Central Office Chapter, Ms. Amada Dimaculangan, and SWEAP Golden Acres Chapter President Crispin Panganiban led members in this protest action.
Kasama si Lola sa pakikibaka!
The SWEAP protest not only the transfer of GA to Tanay, Rizal but also the DSWD Management's plan to abolish the nearby Reception and Study Center for Childen, home of abandoned children aged 6 years and below. The lots of GA and RSCC are almost adajacent to each other. It seems the sinister plan is to clear the lots first then sell it to private insvestors.

SWEAP petitioned DSWD Secretaries from Esperanza Cabral to Celia Yangco to save Golden Acres in QC.

While the lolos and lolas protest inside the gate of Golden Acres, SWEAP members protest outside also to say "No to transfer and abolition of GA & RSCC!
